The SLT20P Steel-Silicone Wheel Set is the second-generation version of one of the most popular wheel solutions for competitive robotics. Designed and handcrafted with exceptional attention to quality, these wheels combine a precision-machined steel rim with a high-performance silicone tire to provide outstanding traction and durability. The internal steel rim is manufactured using CNC lathes, ensuring excellent dimensional accuracy and structural strength. Compared to conventional lightweight wheels, the heavier steel construction increases the wheel's contact force with the ground, resulting in improved grip and pushing capability. Each wheel weighs 52 grams , making it particularly effective for two-wheel mini sumo robots , where traction and weight distribution play a critical role in performance. The wheel hub supports 12 mm, 15 mm, and 16 mm DC gearbox motors , offering flexibility for various robotic drive systems. An integrated M4 setscrew securely locks the wheel onto the motor shaft, preventing slippage during high-torque operation.
