The MC-33 Wired Magnetic Switch Detector is a compact magnetic contact sensor widely used in security alarm systems, access control systems, and smart monitoring applications. The device operates using a magnetic detection principle that combines a permanent magnet and a reed switch. When the magnet is positioned close to the reed switch at a distance of less than approximately 5mm , the circuit remains in a closed state (NC – Normally Closed). Once the magnet moves away due to door or window opening, the reed switch changes state, allowing the alarm or control system to detect the event. The sensor is housed in a durable fire-resistant ABS enclosure with metal shielding for improved protection and reliability. Its compact wired design allows easy installation on doors, windows, cabinets, gates, and access points.
