The SN74HC74N is a high-speed CMOS dual D-type flip-flop. Each flip-flop has data (D) input, clock (CLK) input, asynchronous preset (PR), and clear (CLR) inputs, with complementary outputs Q and Q?. Data is transferred to the outputs on the rising edge of the clock, and asynchronous control inputs allow setting or resetting outputs independently.
