The SUMO M1 Mini Sumo Robot Chassis is a professionally designed chassis platform developed for mini sumo robot competitions and advanced robotics projects. Its strong mechanical construction provides an excellent balance between durability, weight distribution, and structural rigidity, helping robots achieve superior performance during competitive matches. The chassis is built from 2mm stainless steel , ensuring excellent resistance to impacts and mechanical stress. The lower plate is bent downward at a 20-degree angle , creating an ideal mounting surface for blades and front wedges that help robots get underneath opponents during pushing battles. The upper plate is designed to simplify component installation. It provides mounting locations for sensors, controller boards, and other electronic modules while incorporating a central battery compartment capable of accommodating 2S or 3S LiPo batteries in capacities ranging from 350mAh to 500mAh . The chassis includes motor mounting brackets compatible with 12mm motors , including Core Series and Pololu motors. Additionally, it can accommodate many 12mm, 15mm, and 16mm diameter motors, making it highly versatile for different drive system configurations. Supplied as a mechanical chassis kit without motors, wheels, or electronics, the M1 platform allows builders complete freedom to customize their robot according to competition requirements and performance goals.
